Michael J. Marchese, PT, MPT specializes in treating children and adults with orthopedic and sports-related injuries as well as those with neurological problems such as a stroke. Whether you have been injured or disabled at work, in a car, at home or at play he has the experience and expertise to develop and carry out an individualized plan of care to help you obtain the maximum possible recovery in the shortest amount of time. He received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Baylor University in 1980 and spent 10 years as a physical therapist in the US Army in almost every possible practice setting before entering private practice in 1990. He also has an undergraduate degree in Physical Education from McDaniel College. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the APTA's Orthopedic, Sports Medicine, and Private Practice Sections, as well as the New Jersey Society of Independent Physical Therapists. He is also the team physical therapist for the Holmdel Stampede, a nationally ranked girls soccer team.
